Metalcore Mavericks Set to Wage War

Set to heat up Australian stages this July and August like the thick and humid swamps of their hometown, Florida juggernauts WAGE WAR today announce that due to overwhelming demand, Melbourne’s venue for Saturday 2 August has been upgrade to the Forum, with Brisbane and Sydney shows also selling fast.

Bringing some spectacular savagery down under this July and August as part of the ‘It Calls Me By Name’ world tour, joined by special guests ORTHODOX (USA) and HEAVENSGATE, WAGE WAR will also arrive armed with their brand new EP of the same name, It Calls Me By Name, kicking off their headline run on Thursday 30 July in Perth before roaring through Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane, and concluding on Friday 7 August in Sydney.

Hailing from Florida, WAGE WAR have spent their storied career cultivating a reputation for snarling breakdowns, infectious hooks and their own gripping take on the metalcore realms, with their releases also often lyrically packing a connective punch via themes of mental health, introspection and perseverance.

Releasing their debut full-length Blueprints in 2015, WAGE WAR have since unleashed five studio albums, including their evolutionary 2024 album Stigma. Fluent in creating hybrid heavy creations and no strangers to chart success, including taking out the #1 spot on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart for their single MAGNETIC, WAGE WAR have also just dropped their brand new EP It Calls Me By Name; a collection of songs shaped by Florida, the swamp and the relentless aggression of nature.

Most recently performing in Australia in 2024 as part of Knotfest Australia, WAGE WAR have also extensively built their explosive live reputation across the globe, with performances in their wake alongside Slipknot, A Day To Remember, Papa Roach, Architects, Parkway Drive and Three Days Grace, as well as their own headline runs, and jaw-dropping festival appearances at Louder Than Life, Sick New World, Sonic Temple and many more.
