We enjoyed our rendezvous with Queensland-based “The Chats” who helped to open for the Cosmic Psychos Loudmouth Soup tour!
This super high energy and apparent fun loving 3-piece band (which is comprised of Josh Price, Matt Boggis and Eamon Sandwith) might best be described as a collision between maybe Sweden’s The Hives and England’s The Jam — with that accident happening at an Australian beer/beach party somewhere!
We did get a kick to out of the very youthful looking bassist Eamon Sandwich’s antics along with his on-stage facial expressions. (….and we assume that the Vroom at the Noosaville Hotel did check his ID before entry for the 18+ show – LOL!)
